Health Region South East, Norway

In November 2009 CSAM Health and Helse Sør-Øst signed a frame agreement for delivery and maintenance of maternity systems for the largest health region in Norway serving a population of more than 2,7 million people. Partus is already in operation at 9 hospitals in the region, including the Akershus Universitetssykehus which opened in 2008 as one of Europe’s most modern hospitals. Landstinget Västmanland (LTV), Sweden

Landstinget Västmanland is one of the 21 counties of Sweden. The county is responsible for providing all health care in the county and is serving more 250.000 citizens, with almost 7.000 employees. In 2007 there were approximately 221.000 patient encounters in specialist health care, while there were 342.000 in primary health care. Västmanland County uses CSAM Plexus Portal to integrate data from multiple clinical systems in order to create a Web-based portal that provides physicians with a uniform interface and rapid access to clinical data.  CSAM was awarded the contract based on the future proof solution and advanced functionality.  The solution has been in operation since 2005, and has gradually been implemented for all hospitals with integration to several EMR's and specialists systems.

Norrbotten County Council, Sweden

Partus was introduced as the maternity system for  Norrbotten Läns Landsting (NLL) in 2006. The county includes five hospitals, two birth clinics, and 33 primary care centrals. By connecting several health care providers through Partus, continuity of care is ensured even if the pregnant woman is transferred to another location. In Partus the pregnant woman is followed from the first ante-natal encounter, through investigations, ultrasound, delivery, operation, birth, to the postnatal registration of the newborn child. ”Partus enables all the  healthcare professionals around the pregnant woman to think and work in a structured way, which, in turn, contributes to enhanced safety and quality of care” says Kerstin Nyberg at Sunderby Hospital.systems.

University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN)

The maternity system Partus has been in use at the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN) since 2003. At UNN there are about 1500 births a year, and the reason for introducing Partus was to help the healthcare professionals fulfil their requirements to complete documentation throughout the maternal process. “Partus is a tool which helps us meet the demands made both by the pregnant woman as well as the authorities” says Renata Grundvåg at UNN.
